Why Our Authors Have a 100% Completion Rate

A prospective client recently asked me a question that totally blew my mind.

"What are your completion rates?"

I was taken aback. "What do you mean?"

"Like, how many of your clients actually finish their books?"

My answer? EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Every person who has ever signed up to write a book with me 1:1 has finished their book. All but one have gone on to publish their books.

I've ghostwritten and edited 100+ books in my career. Since I founded WorldChangers Media in December 2020, we've signed 28 incredible authors. All of them will have finished and published their books with us before the middle of 2023.

FYI, the person who didn't publish was a client from like 5 years ago who had to step away from her ghostwriting project for various reasons, but by the time that happened my part of the contract was already fulfilled, so ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Almost no one else in the publishing industry has a 100% completion rate. It's a really big deal.

And yet, I totally took it for granted until this person brought it up - because any other outcome would be totally unacceptable to me.

I can't imagine signing a contract with a client and then not doing everything it takes to make their book happen.

Some clients have needed to extend contracts, sure. Some need more time flexibility. Divine timing is absolutely a thing. We adapt.

But our authors ALWAYS finish what we start.

Part of this is that we only work with people who are ready to step out as true world-changers -- people whose mission and vision are bigger than any fear they carry. They are willing to become the versions of themselves who can carry the caliber and scope of their work. They are willing to invest time, energy, and capital into creating these career-defining works.

The other part is that our model combines done-with-you and done-for-you. We don't do JUST publishing, or JUST book coaching. And while in the past I've done group programs and courses, I stopped offering them because they weren't helping the majority of students get their books done - and that ate at me even though all of the participants seemed happy with the course and the support it offered.

So, we designed our process to support authors individually, with clarity and intention every step of the way - especially during the parts of the process when things get most challenging.

Basically, we went back to the way books used to be created and refined - in a collaborative model with an experienced editor as coach and confidante to guide the writing, and a team of genius copy editors, designers, and implementers to support the rest of the process.

So, if you've worked with different author models before and haven't been able to get your book across the finish line, you're not alone - AND we've got your back.

Because the awesome idea that's living in your head isn't doing the world any good.

But your awesome idea captured in a book is a game-changer.
